Stimulated cellular reactions

cell membrane2

The forces a cell actively exerts to answer to an external stimulus given by Angiotensin II

Changes in cellular mechanics by rearranging the actin meshwork or by tuning the connection of adhesion molecules to the membrane or the cytoskeleton due to external stimuli are investigated here.
